Baby Gift Guide

Shop Small Baby Gift Guide | Christmas Baby List | Stocking Stuffers | Sane at Home Mom

It was “Small Business Saturday” last weekend, and I wanted to show some love to all of those creative ladies out there – because, as hard as I try to be, I am not one (yet!)

In fact, this year at a women’s camp I went to, I bought a craft. One of those really cute little macrame plant hangers. I couldn’t figure out how to do it at camp, so I brought it home thinking I would just look it up on YouTube. It’s still sitting in a wad in my laundry room. So… since I am not super creative, I have a deep admiration for people who make, sell and are great at it! Here are a few of my favorite small shops to shop for your wee one this holiday season.

Momma’s Little Birdie

I have a few of Jocelyn’s (the owner of the shop) items (a teething necklace, pacifier clip and ring teether), and I am obsessed! They are modern, cute, and natural. Elise is not partial to any type of teether, but if I’m going to wear a necklace, or photograph her holding a teether, I want it to be stylish. Jocelyn puts a lot of love into each piece and works hard to make unique, trendy toys and jewelry.

Follow her on Instagram here to see when she comes out with new products, and when she is taking custom orders.

Sue Sue’s Bonnets

Courtney was one of my best friends in elementary school, and she makes the most darling little bonnets for your babes. I have a velvet (my personal favorite) one from last winter, but this year she is releasing sherpa-lined bonnets. They look so cozy, and are expertly sewn so they won’t fall apart, and will be super comfortable on those little heads!

Look how adorable my (baby!) Sophia looks in her Christmas ’16 bonnet.

Pursuing Pie

Now, I don’t know the owner of this shop personally, but I saw her on a friend’s instagram and she is just cool. She is a twin mama, talented artist, and blogger. Her prints would be adorable anywhere in the home – and she just sold out of to-do lists. I am so excited to see what else she has coming to her shop. Since this is a Christmas list for your babes though, check out her instagram to see a recent shelfie she did for a nursery!

3Trees Designs

Another high school friend has started this shop recently and makes the most adorable home decor, decals and clothing. This mama does custom vinyl designs on anything you can pretty much think of. I love her car decals, but for littles, check out her clothing and home decor.

Jade & Pine

I was somehow, randomly added to this group on Facebook, and was honestly kind of mad. And then I saw all the CUTENESS that was happening there. This is sort of like an online baby boutique, and her stuff sells quick. You will have to join the group, but I promise – it’s worth it.

Lettered Be

This is a brand new shop by one of my good friends, but she has been creating signs for a few years now. She takes custom orders, and handpaints everything herself on beautiful wood. Hurry up and order from her – I’m sure she will be filling up with orders quickly!

If you haven’t completed all of your Christmas shopping, please go check out these shops run by moms. Shopping small is rewarding (for you and the shop-owner!)

The bonnet is adorable! I have a 2 year old nephew but I’m not sure he would keep this on for very long, he’s quite energetic. Great selections for baby gifts this holiday!
